Choosing the right Design Agency

Creative design should be engaging, beautiful and rewarding and it shouldn’t be a bottomless pit into which you just throw money. It is paramount that you commission an agency that puts your “return on investment” ahead of their own agenda.  An agency that is only interested in creativity is actually not a good agency to work with. When you commission an advertisement, a website or a brochure it needs to have a discernible effect on the bottom line.

Lose sight of this and your appointed agency could lose sight of the task in hand. You may well end up with the most beautiful Yellow Pages advert imaginable – but can your prospect quickly understand your business’s benefits and quickly understand how to contact you?
If the answer is “No” then that agency is an unwanted expense to your business and certainly not an investment.

When approaching an agency:

- Take a look at their own website.
- Call one of their clients to find out what they really think.
- Have a clear idea of what you expect from the agency.
- Request a personal presentation.
